The body consists of a percentage of water. All drinks contain fluid which is a very important substance for the body. The thing is that some drinks contain substances that are not advantageous for one’s health. Water on the other hand has all the needed substances.

Water primarily cleans the body. Kidneys are likely to collect harmful oxides. By drinking water, substances in the water break the oxides down leaving the kidneys clean. One, two or even three glasses of water per day are not nearly enough to clean impurities. Eight glasses of water are least what doctors prescribe.Water Health

Other than cleansing the body, water also keeps the skin flexible. Moist ensures elasticy of the skin. Keeping your skin as elastic and flexible for as long as possible will depend on the amount of water you drink. Water thus also keeps your skin in good condition.

The body gets rid of excess water in the form of sweat or urine which is part of the natural cycle. When the body loses too much water without refilling, dehydration occurs. If dehydration is not treated soon enough, a person may die. Water is important for living but also maintaining a healthy one.
