People have been plagued with poor vision for decades. In the past, people were usually unaware that some of the symptoms they were feeling were true indicators that they actually required a pair of glasses. In the past, these symptoms were often overlooked and ignored as a mere headache. Nowadays if you are feeling some of these symptoms you can and SHOULD book an eye check with your doctor. However, you need to be aware of some of the symptoms of early eye problems so you know when you need to book that eye appointment before your problems develop further.

The most telling sign that you need a pair of eyeglasses is if you are experiencing blurry vision and headaches. Most people attribute this to feeling under the weather or other external factors, but the truth is if you experience blurry vision and/or headaches for more than a couple days you should immediately book an eye appointment with your doctor. These symptoms are very serious and suggest that there is a good chance you will need a pair of prescription glasses right away.

Even if you are completely confident that your vision is fine and you don’t need a pair of glasses you should still have an eye check every two years to ensure that everything is alright. Remember to keep in mind that if you ever experience any prolonged headaches or blurry vision then you should book an appointment for an eye check as soon as possible.
