Eating Habits And Fitness

January 4, 2007

There is more to nutrition than just taking in food. Eating healthy means food which “mean something” to your body. To eat for the sake of hunger is one thing but eating to keep fit, is quite another. Eating habits should already be taught to children at a young age.

In a modern age where fast foods are easy available, children are not really exposed to nutritional food. It is often easier for working parents to buy fast food on their way home than cooking a proper meal. These children then develop Eating Habitswrong eating habits…

Most health problems can be traced back to an unbalanced diet. Fish, fresh vegetables and fruit are essential to keep fit. Freshness means natural grown, sun ripe. Again, modern age puts technology there with processed food as a result which does not have the same nutrition as fresh veggies or fruit. However, technology also made some positive impacts to help us fighting our obesity problem. Natural diet pills are the best examples.

The conclusion to nutrition and fitness is that children must grow up with good eating habits. Hotdogs, pizza, hamburgers and chips are harmless once in a while, but constantly taken can only have serious health risks as the fat intake are high. So eat food that “mean something” to your body and stay fit.

What amazes me is despite the increase in health awareness, more and more people still continue to put pure junk into their bodies. some of the ingredients they put in food these days such as high fructose corn syrup can be addicting, i mean it’s not like you’d have to go to drug rehab or anything, but it still is harmful in the long run. we just need to continue to keep people informed about the effects of such eating and hope that more people will realize the truth.

Got something to say?
